Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 25, 2026

Tommie ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Tommie mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Tommie, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

We collect information in two ways: information you provide directly, and information collected automatically when you use the app.

Information you provide

Information collected automatically

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising profiling.

3. Sign in with Apple and Sign in with Google

When you authenticate using Sign in with Apple, Apple may provide us with a unique identifier and, at your option, your name and email address. Apple's Hide My Email feature may route communication through a relay address — we support this and will only communicate with the address provided to us.

When you authenticate using Sign in with Google, Google provides us with your name, email address, and profile photo associated with your Google account. Your use of Google sign-in is also governed by Google's Privacy Policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy.

We do not receive your Apple or Google passwords under any circumstances.

4. Location data

Tommie's core function is to help you find events near you. To do this, we request access to your device's location. We use location data only to surface relevant local events and do not store precise location history on our servers beyond the session in which it is used.

You can withdraw location permission at any time by going to your device's Settings app. If you decline location access, you can still use Tommie by entering a location manually.

5. Data sharing and disclosure

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share your information with:

6. Data retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's privacy

Tommie is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without verified parental consent, we will delete that information promptly. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we will notify you through the app or by email. Your continued use of Tommie after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
